What you‘ll need

Chemex, Chemex filter paper,

25g freshly ground coffee,

400g hot water (93°C), scale, timer

3:00-4:00 min

Grind

medium (a bit finer than sea salt)

Troubleshooting

too acidic - grind finer

too bitter - grind coarser

Unfold the filter and place in Chemex,

make sure to direct the triple-fold

towards the pour spout.

Step 2

Rinse the filter paper with hot water,

which will also pre-heat the vessel.

Once completed, discard the water in

the vessel.

Step 3

Pour your coffee into the wet filter and

gently flatten the bed by gently

shaking. After this step multiple pours

will follow.
